Enilchek
When, in the days of the late USSR, deposits of tungsten, tin, molybdenum and other minerals were found in the valley of the Inylchek River, the country's leadership decided not to waste time on trifles, but to build a mining and processing plant and a small city to serve it right in the Tien Shan mountains , at an altitude of 2500 meters, not far from the border with China and the "seven thousand" Khan Tengri. These places are about 150 kilometers away from the nearest civilization. Construction of the road there began in 1980, completed in 1989 (only one mountain pass, which had to be "lowered" by 40 meters, drank a lot of blood to the builders). But the efforts were in vain: the USSR collapsed, and the practically completed city suddenly simply became useless to anyone. On the slope of a high mountain, you can see the remains of a mining and processing plant and swim in the hot springs in the Sary-Jaz River.
